There have been many sports stadiums in the Bay Area. San Francisco alone has had five stadiums used for professional baseball.

Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum

Kezar Stadium at the southeast corner of Golden Gate Park was home of the San Francisco 49ers from 1946 to 1970. The stadium was demolished in 1989 following the Loma Prieta earthquake.
